88GT - which pistons
Have a stock 88GT, what are my pistons, cast or forged. Heard I can't run Nitrous with cast pistons. Also, what shot of juice to run if possible without damaging the motor? Car will be mostly street, rare occasion strip.

You have forged pistons, and if you want that stock engine to last a while, use a 100 shot, but don't hit it around town, strip only, as it wears on everything.. Nitrous Kills engines, I'd go SC or TC personally.

anything kills a motor!!!!!!!!!!!! nitrous can be done safely!!! hell a sc or turbo can be setup wrong can cause more damage. Nitrous isnt all that bad its when ppl not knowing the proper way of using it mess things up. 150 your car can withstand but like i said you will need a stronger fuel pump for that high of a shot

This is completely true as ohsoquick stated. Most people don't know squat about Nitrous, whereas a SC is a bolt on product. TC is a little more complicated I do admit.. I am just not a nitrous guy [:'(]

how isnt nitrous a bolt on? dont you bolt it on? so yes its a bolt on just like a supercharger. actually a nitrous kit takes alot less time then a sc or a turbo kit to install. i would have to say a dry kit takes around the same time as some basic mods, like pulleys and etc. i did a dry shot in about and hour on a truck.
there is more to a supercharger kit then just bolting it on.

When it comes down to it, I just do not like nitrous, I feel that a SC is way smarter and you can see huge gains off of a minimal amount of boost, whereas if you have a highly modded car, a 50 shot or 75 shot may not really help much, a SC always shows improvment.
