Need some suspension Help
Alright guys, I need some help on picking out a suspension set up. The mods to my motor are in my sig. I have plans in a cpl years for a 347 for sure, and possibly a blower. So keep that in mind. Thus far the suspension is bone stock. I also plan on taking my car to the track a cpl timesa year.

If I am not mistaken, 50/50 shocks (for the rear) are how std replacements at your local parts store sell.
nitrous_bob do you know if 95stang5.0 should be using the stock 5.0 quad shocks?
I agree air bag helps, also 4 cylinder springs or specific drag rear springs, since you wont be going to the track all the time does this mean the car will see much street use or only those few drag racing blasts? If you drive much, I would recommend against the differing heights for the rear springs which is an option - an option that would preclude using the air bag I believe.
#1 I think every FOX mustang owner that keeps the stock style rear suspension hanger style = upper & lower control arms... you SHOULD get uppers that will allow pivot. this not only adds safety but can stop the upper and lower arms from contridicting each other

RE: Need some suspension Help
Ok, yes the car does see the street alot more than the track. I just want something that is gonna hook half way decent on the street and the track. Thanks any one else?

if you use 8 lbs in the bag, it won't change ride height, and keep the car nice and level on a 3k-ish launch
and yes the 4cylinder springs help too for cheap.
i have eibach lowering springs on my car and w/ the 50/50's, and hpm's i 60 foot 1.69's on mickey drag radials
and it still handles great, i currently have the front sway bar off, so i'm feeling that for sure, but it was an experiment and i might as well put it back on.
