I run stock box with K&N filter/silencer removed...feeds more than enough air to make 317hp/344 N/A and 400 on the ZEX....air fed volume is not an issue so why would you need anything more? You only make more power when you offer the engine something it can use or open up a restriction...the stock tube/box and high flow filter is by far NOT a restriction. Don't confuse forced air wit the simple ram air set ups...unless you pass the 100mph mark the ram air has no effect unless air flow is DIRECTLY fed to the intake...without significant bends. The stock set up draws its air from the EXACT same location as the RAM and CAI's offered.

The anderson power pipe is a larger diameter and smoother bend product and for more aggressive combo's it can offer up some advantage.

There was te test done on the ram-air in the hood design and at speed, there is a dead layer of air across the hood so there is no gain from the remming effect. Under the front valance works. Took a 10th off of my 1/8 mile et.

This is why cowl induction works because of the high pressure area at the bottom of the windshield. Nascar still gets their intake air from there.
