heres the complete story. 87 GT 5.0 all stock except exhaust, 49,000 miles all origainal. The prob startd with the engine just coming to a stop then it would pick back up. Then It got to where if I drove it for about 30 min, it wouldnt start back up for about 24 hours. now it just wont start. No Spark. replaced igniton module, ignt. coil, wires,checked rotor, cap all that looks good. Heres the kicker I get 12v and a good ground into ignit, coil but only 12 back out when i hit ignition, should be a whole lot more than that. Im working on ordering a ecm(my uncle had similair prob with ford wagon and thats what fixed it) any other suggestions would be greatly appreicated.

Well, there's always the pick up coil in the distributor.

Should I try to replace the whole diz before i try the computer?

I am not too gifted on the tech with cars....im a locomitve mechanic-No spark plugs ha ha. so i really need some help with this one.

If you have axcess to one w/o having to buy one why not. Were you going to have to buy an ecm or borrow one?

advance-98$, its a pretty good deal for the computer I think but i still dont want to drop that much and it not fix it you know
