Default x cam on 347 please HELP!!!

i bought a 347 stroker short block to bulid over the winter and i want to put a x cam in it but some one said i would have piston to valve clearance issues is this true? if so what do i have to do to be able to use it?

A X-303 is a modified or "upgraded" version of the B-303. Same valve open/close events @.050" for both intake and exhaust, same intake center line, same LSA...... it only has more advertised duration and lift. If the reason that "someone" said that, is due to the valve lift increase, he's wrong. You should check for PtV clearance anyway, to confirm it does clear though, but I've had one in my junk with 1.72 ratio rockers for years + have installed a few in customer cars and haven't had any clearance issues (except one...... heads were milled "a little" to increase compression).... but I have always checked.
