Default 1.6 & 1.7 rockers for homeade dual pattern cam

i have a b303 cam right now and i've been considering buying a set of 1.7 roller rockers and tryin to switch half of them to someone for 8 1.6's...and putting the 1.7's on the exhaust side for somewhat of a dual pattern cam as i hear they make good power...would this be ok...do the 1.7's change lift AND duration???

Why would you want less lift on the intake side?

ORIGINAL: Novipowered5.0

Why would you want less lift on the intake side?
in theroy because the exhaust valves are so much smaller than the intakes and that is where fords need more the exhaust side to flow better

i have stock heads and intake...and most of the guys i talk to say the dual pattern with a better exhaust side perform great on these cars...so i would be keeping the original b cam specs on intake side...and more lift on exhaust side right?...

does anyone know the math that could give me figures for lift on a bcam with 1.7's?

I wouldn't bother doing it, it won't be worth it. B303 is .510 lift with 1.7s

why not sell the b303 and 1.6's and use the money from that along with the money for the 1.7's and buy the correct cam

aka custom
