i know...its the schrader valve, but you supposedly need a fuel pressure tester with a relief valve to release the pressure. is there any other way to relieve the pressureor am i going to have to pony up the cash?

haha i like that..but ya it works fine..when i replaced my filter my car had sat for about a day and there wasnt noticable pressure..u might be able to get away with not worryin about but its probably better to just do it..but again dont just stick it in..have a rag wraped around to soak up what fuel comes out ..cuz fuel in the eyes is definatly a not so fun thing

i did my filter right after drivin the car one time and forgot to let out the pressure... fuel in your eye burns, very badly, lol

the easiest way to do it is go in the trunk, remove the panel(drivers side furthest back) and unplug the inertia switch... then crank the car over a few times... and no more fuel pressure for you... when your done just plug it back in
