Stay away from chrome for the reasons mentioned.

Be careful with wrap, it can trap moisture and cause rust.

The "factory" ceramic coating is not to shabby.

Go with BBK for bang for the buck and a little quality.

To Hell with all that ceramic crap. To get a coating the really lasts is way to expensive. get the unequals andwrap them if you are really concerned with heat.

Do NOT wrap your headers... Period.. [&:]

That's all.

Get unequals unless you never want to change your sparkplugs again.
How is that? I have equals and there isn't a clearance problem what so ever. Maybe the header isn't the problem.

I have ceramic coated equals on the car for about two years now, look as good as the day I bought them.

i just got bbk uequal shorties, they look ok, but have thin chrome and the tubes have mandrel marks all over them.[&:]. the welds inside the flange are sloppy, but i plan on grinding that smooth before installation. all in all theyre still a good deal for the money, and are carb legal.

You're gonna hate them when the chrome turns color.
