i wa sgoing to get a transgo shift kit in my AOD but my cousin took me for a ride in his 85 GT and he put in a TCI valve body and man it sold me, my car chirps in every gear even OD (when racing it) i love it, just my 2 cents

If not could you link up to it? I've heard okay things bout the transgo but i've heard they're kinda hard to put in and i've heard the TCI is an all around better shift kit.

about $120, and why do you need to pay somone to do it? im 19 and i figured it out? It aint that hard, just take your time and ask questions, you will save money and actually learn something

Good point. How hard was it to install? What exactly did you have to do?

drill holes, take the whole valve body out of the car. They have a step by step video with it, its basically switching out springs, you just need to take your time and make sure everything is VERY VERY VERY clean. It took me 3 days, but that is becase i broke my 3rd accumulator valve and had to get a new one ($14)

i would just buy the TCI Street Fighter Valve Body it already comes withthe shift kit in it and all you have to do is unbolt your old valve body and bolt the TCI one in, take about 1/2 hour. i got mine from summit racing (part no. TCI-432200 for about $221.99) got in like 2 days. you can let it shift in automatic or you can do it manually and it shifts hard and chirps nicely
