did you move the dist. by accident?

double check your firing order.... you know what cyl is what right... pass side is 1-2-3-4, and drivers side is 5-6-7-8

im not a huge fan of the plat. plugs... i used to run autolite 25s in my e7 heads...

You probably have some wires mixed up.

What do you mean did i move the distributer by accident?? Is there a particular way that the cap and rotor need to go on? my buddy put on the cap & rotor while i was gapping the plugs and i checked over and the wires were all put back in the proper order..

im pretty sure i dont have any wires mixed up. I've gone through and unplugged and replugged the wires in as well to make sure i didnt have any that werent popped on..

Thanks dude,i acutally had it written down and by now memorized well...

well, i brought my girlfriend and a flashlight out at 1 am and, even though i had already double checked the connections, i decided to triple check them. Unplugged and replugged the wires atthe plug anddizzy, took the cap off and put it back on,took it for a test drive, no more miss =], i guess a wire just wasnt on right... sorry for the false alarm, but thanks for being on point so quick with the responses!

He meant did you rotate it by accident? It sounds doubtful becuase I doubt you loosened the hold down srew. There's only one way the distributor cap goes on because it's keyed. Make sure your wires are using the HO firing order and not the regular firing order.
