Default H Pipe 2 1/4" vs 2.5"

A shop that Just did a custom H Pipe w/ Magnaflow cats accidently made the piping diameter
2 1/4" instead of 2.5". What am I missing not having 2.5" pipes...some HP and tone maybe?

less exhaust will pass through the smaller pipe, slowing the flow and losing some hp and torque.

What is the gain from an H pipe...is like 10 hp or so. Guy at shop said Id lose 2hp at most. My guess would be 2 or 3hp and probally lose a littlebit of the loudness.

Unless you are making big horsepower Iwould just leave it at is, the slightly smaller pipe diameter should help with low end torque which never hurts. You might be losing a few horsepower up top but I wouldn't sweat it.
