Default Popping Noise

I here a popping noise when I go forward or in reverse if I tap on the brake a little hard, It popped going around a corner kinda of hard as well, the noise is coming from the drivers side, I have already checked the lower ball joint, the control arm bushings and some of theother suspension components and they all seem tight. Anyone know what this could be and do you have some suggestions on how I could test any of the other components on the car. Thanks

if it's coming from the front ...check the sway bar links and see if one isn't broken and make sure the pads are not rocking in the holders

The sway bar is tight but the rubber surrounding it is a bit dry rotted, could that do it?

possibly but I doubt it..does it do it all the time?? tracking down a noise over the internet is really tough without hearing the general noise or location....= tough......but if you can get it to do it rolling slow..I'll usually hang my head out the window while trying to duplicate the noise to narrow down the source/orgin of noise

It seems to do it more and more frequently. Just rolling without hitting the brakes will not do it. It seems to only do it when you step on the brake quickly or taking a fairly hard turn into a corner, not just slowly stepping on the brake in a normal stop. It is coming from the drivers side for sure, I know internet diagnosis is tough, I have held my head out the window also, can't figure it out since all the suspension seems tight.

I will check on that tomorrow mjr, thanks for the help again, I hate problems that can not be explained by just checking the normal stuff.

sounds like it could be just a dry brake slide...
