Default King cobra clutch problem?

Hey guys I just put in a king cobra clutch and it shakes a lot when ever I take off or change gears. Does anyone know if this is normal or should I reinspect it. I got a new flywheel and rear engine seal also.

It's called clutch "chatter".

Happens when the two surfaces don't have enough pressure against them and they start to vibrate. This is usually caused by the springs being fatigued due to a number of things. The main thing is ridding the clutch. Now I know that you don't ride the clutch but maybe the clutch setting is off therefore causing the two plates to not fully engage.

ok i'll try adjusting it first. Thanks. Is it possible to be that it needs to wear in or no? Also I heard that the cluth adjusts it self, is that rumor?

^^^ or, since it's a brand new clutch, it could be defective right out of the box. Which would suck. Be sure to do all the adjustments first. A re-tear down of the tranny should only be needed as a last resort. Did you resurface your flywheel before installing the new clutch?
