Easy questions ...
I would like to start servicing my 91 GT myself so I went out and got all the service parts. I'm comfortable changing everything except the fuel filter and the cap/rotor.
1. Where is the fuel filter?
2. Can it be removed without the gas spilling out?
3. Is there a preferred method to changing it?
3. What's involved in replacing the cap and rotor?
4. Do I have to reset the timing?
Thanks for the answers.

RE: Easy questions ...
1. Its in the rear of the car, just get under the rear and look around the gas tank and you cant miss it.
2.Ive always had sum gas spill out but its no ungodly amount, a couple of drops.
3.Put in the new one with the same orientation as the old one. The ends go in specific directions just remember the orientation of the old one when you pull it out. and have a flat head with you to remove the white clips which hold the lines on. they just pop out with a flat head easily.
4.Remove the spark plug wires from the cap, remove the two retaining clips on the side of the dizzy that hold the cap on. For the rotor make sure you mark the orientation of it as it sits when you pull the cap off.then just put the new one in that same way. You can just pull the rotor out.
5. No ive never had to reset timming.
