I installed the powertrax in my stang recently. Kind of a pain in the @$$ to put in but I have heard nothing but good things about them. Plus i'm pretty sure you have to keep c-clip axles to hold the powertrax differential together!

i got the Strange LSD w/ 31-splines, its never failed, wasnt too expensive either

i installed a powertrax unit in my car last year. i though it was a pretty easy install. once the axles are out and everything it just takes bout 15 minutes to get it in place. i was pretty pleased with it overall. i didnt like it driving around corners and stuff though. you have to take it easy while its unlocking and unlocking. but it was great in a straight line. and im not positive but i think it comes in two versions, one for use with c clips and one without.

i got the auburn hd, works like a dream, no chatter round corners, and gives great traction to both wheels at the track, perfect for street strip
