Default RE: Question about codes...

Looks like the TPS is fubar (code 23).... code 21 KOER could have been caused by running the test with coolant temp below 170 deg.F..... suggest to clear codes and rerun the tests to confirm though.

Nope. It has the check valve that comes off the pipes that goes into the back of the heads but that is it.

I was going to post that I went through and looked into the codes but forgot too.

Seems everything except the TPS sensor and the smog pump codes probably go back to a vacum leak or bad EGR valve.

Could that be the cause of the MAF out of range fault? I know one site I looked at said that it could be out of range because of the EGR valve being screwed.

If you mean code 22 for "the MAF out of range fault"...... nope, code 22 is BP/MAP sensor, and since the system allowed you to run a KOER, it's not a hard failure code...... it may have been logged in memory at a time the engine was started with the sensor disconnected by mistake...... reason why you clear codes first, and confirm if they are real. EGR code 33 means the EGR is not active, its function is automatically deleted by the system, and shouldn't cause any driveability problems. Is your car speed density or MAF?
