Default porting heads?

i have a used set of rebuilt set of iron GT40s and i was thinking of having a port job done but dont know what they are stock and what to port them out too, any ideas?

stock for right now, money issues. i figure when i buy a cam, ill need to buy a new fuel system,new valve springs, etc.... its money i dont have right now unfortunately.

No need to polish the intake side, but the exhaust is fine.

It is not all about how big you can get the ports, but the shape is very important.

Taking out "meat" at the right areas...

just get a gasket and match the ports to it. Fix the short turn radius so it's smooth. (no sharp edges)

amen to that! if i ported my heads to the bbk gaskets i got with my headers, my heads would be all fuqed up[&:]

the felpros are a better guidline if you need one. but most the work is in the bowls
