the guy is an idiot and has no clue to what hes talking about. If you want the simple route buy a powermaster 140amp since its a direct bolt on. If you want to shave your alternator bracket and mess with wiring then do the 3g swap from an sn94-95. However the stock alternator without under drive pullies isnt TERRIBLE TERRIBLE. I am using it now, with under drive pullies lol. As long as I am not at idle, im not discharging.

That guy is clueless. You coulod go 130-140 amp Powermaster or other alts. and it wouldn't hurt a thing. The Powermaster was a straight forward install as well. I have the 130 and an electric fan and underdrive pulleys. Not a problem........at least not yet.

+1 for powermaster. My alternator went out along with the voltage regulator and I couldn't wait for one to be shipped so i went with the stock autozone alternator. However with my electric fan and underdrive pullies, the 75amps is enough. Granted with all accessories on, i will discharge at idle, and with EVERYTHING on im sure im not gaining a whole bunch, but I havent had an issue since the swap.

I left my dome light on for 2 1/2hrs the other night, after being in traffic, and still she started right up.
