one wire alternator on a 86??

ive been having problems with my alternator on my 86 mustang. can i hook up a one wire alternator without hurting the computer or performance of the car. i can find out whats wrong with the other one.

if it is infact the alt causeing the prolbem your cool . they are a smipple hook up . a stock replacement would be about half the price

if i was going to get a new alt i would just upgrade to a 130
