I just did a 3g alt swap on my car yesterday and everythings been good. I load tested it and it came out to 14.6 volts. Ive put bout 40 miles on it so far.Tonight, I left Walmart, got on it, and I noticed my amp light on. At the same time, my dome light wont come on when I open the drivers door. Itll still come on with the switch and passenger door. But I doubt the 2 issues are related. Anyway, I looked under the hood at my alt wires and everything still looked okay. Any ideas before I dig into itat work monday????

if it was a reman alt..I wouldn't be suprised if it took a dump[&:]

that, or, hows the battery ? older, newer ? could POSSIBLY be the battery...

check fuse links at starter relay could have burnt one up ... these links are the path of current to the inside of the car

New battery, used alt. My volt gauge has not changed, it stays at a healthy 13-14 volts
