Default DOES 5.0HO MEAN THE ENGINE IS ANY DIFFERENT?

MY 87 GT HAS THE HO ON THE INTAKE MANIFOLD DOES THIS CHANGE ANYTHING IN THE ENGINE OR IS IT JUST FOR LOOKS?

5.0 is a 302 cubic inch, auctly it is 4.9 but ho means high output, it is just somthing that ford did from i think 1986-1993 but im not shure when it started, all it means is 302 high output

opps i was a lil wrong on the years but like i said it means 302 high out put, nothing really in the motor is different, but it use the 351w fireing order and 1987-1992 had forged pistions only some 92 had forged pistions not all did.

Believe the HO's had a different cam as well.
Possibly heads too... cant Remembah

yeah but the ho was the only thing that came in the mustang besides a 4 bager, so what are we comparing it to, a truck 302?

they had a different cam, firing order, and are roller's i beleive.

but werent they turbo swirl heads to start with somethin like 85-86? then in 87 they went to e7te heads right?
