I have a banging noise coming from my driverside rearend when i apply the brake, not sure what it is. Any help would be great. thx

when does the noise /bearing sound occur loudest??......when turning hard right or left?? if it sounds like a brake issue..first thing I'd do is remove drum and inspect components and linings for any issues

thnk you for the reply, it makes noise when stopping at a slow stop, but not turning the steering wheel.

mine did the same thing on my passenger side i took it apart found nothing wrong drove it again still did the same i asked around and i heard if the brakes were backed off enough they would do that so i adjusted the brakes up a little and it fixed it try it because my parking brake was fine and felt like they were tight so i think you should try that
