i was thinking of jst camming my car for now. i dont really have any other engine mods, but as soon as a i do my maf conversion i wanted to throw on a steeda #18 cam or #19 cam. when i do this will i need to change the rockers or retorque anything to different specs? im not going to be doing an head work on my mustang so im just going with cam and intake manifold.

^^^^^^^uhhhhh , yes you will be doing some head work......cam change = valvetrain upgrade = springs and with that you'll need to modify/grind a little on the stock rockers to clear the springs / retainer cups and for that matter you might as well upgrade to roller rockers and then you wouldn't have to perform that mod

Big mistake mang, cam and intake manifold are going to feel like a waste with stock heads. At least look into picking up a set of GT40s.

I agree with mjr46, if you upgrade the cam you need to upgrade the valve spring to match the cam.

You mine as well at least save up for some rebuilt gt40s, because you need to need springs etc anyways just to run the cam.
