Default machining costs

i was wondering approximately how much it costs to have a 5.0 block cleeaned up, cylinders honed and have a crank re-balanced. just wondering because i'm going to rebuild a block on the side so i can just do a motor swap. I 've already got the rebuild kit with everything besides the crank and rods. thanks

All my machinig cost me $280 and that included: bore and hone block .030 over, press off old pistons and press on new ones, turn crank .010 under, install new cam bearings, and boil the block.

the block service could cost around $300( tank, mag flux , cam bearings, core plugs , ckank cut if ness. ) if it needs a aline hone in the crank journals it should be around a nother $75.00 I have yet to hafto have this done to a SBF but happens to SBC almost all the time , 4 bolt main my *** . the spin balnace is a $300.00 job alone and if the budjet alows for this I would recmond you do it .
