yah daily driver so i no i gotta be careful.. but getting this kind of gas mileage i might just make it a drag car and buy somthing good on gas but im taking it to the track on sunday and wanted an est.. and there balanced by a machinest i no very well and he does =great jobs but im thinkin ill shift at 5900 to 6100(just to keep it semi safe) and as far as money goes... im 17.. i dont get it too bad for my age but deff not enough to build another one of these lol

You should have no issues whatsoever at 6100 RPM.

There is no set RPM that is a max, and that is what we are trying to stress, so you don't go out there shifting F1 style.

Rev limiter will keep you safe...though the stock tach will likely tell you you're pulling 7grand . I found on the dyno that my car peaked at 5600...so I shift at aprox 5600, shift at peak power IMO.

These guys are right on. I'll just add that as long as the rotating assembly can handle it, shift at whatever the cam is designed for. If you are using the stock cam still there's no point in shifting past 5500 or so.

i have to figure out how to hook one up to my distributor because i have the hci distributor with the over head ignition box
