well i put my stock headers back on today. I tighten all the bolts from the header and from the piece that connect to the cats. Well i started my car and it seemed really rough so i let it ran for a minute or two. I let it cool off and the tightened the bolts again. It seemed to run a little rough but not as much as before. So i went to the gas station down the block and came directly back home when the check engine light came on. I parked, got off and the car had smoke coming from the passanger side. I peeked at the bottom and notice the first cat was glowing orange and the second one not as bad. What could have caused this?

when its glowing like that, it usually means its clogged..

No telling. You'll need to replace them. Either that or remove them completely.
