Default Flooded engine?

Okay i was having trouble after removing my plug wires to get the car started back up again...

it would just sputter and shake violently and die, if i gave it gas it would stay on but it would just be to rough

me and my bro tried to put the wires in alot of different ways, is it possible after so many attempts to start the car i could have flooded the cylenders?
