Default questions about modifications

so im savin up for some edelbrock performer rpm heads. are these worth the price? im shootin for a high performance street car. if i put these heads on my car with crane gold 1.7 roller rockers, could i use my stock cam? and since a typhoon intake is supposedly identical to the rpm, will it match up?(i made the mistake of buying the cobra intake before i knew what heads i wanted). and if i did all of this and used my 70mm t/b and 76mm maf with 24lb injectors. how many horses am i lookin at?.also im putting in 3.73 gears and underdrives with bbk equal lengths and an electric fan, oh and my bbk cold air intake...and if this isnt enough for me, any chance a t3 turbo could ruin the heads? lol

oh with a decent tune 300rwhp is a close guess....but why limit yourself to the stock cam...put those heads to use with a better than stock cam and no your set up won't satisfy your need for speed.. so go and turbo it..but don't make the motor compression terribly high n/a... casue a turbo motor loves lower compression to allow higher boost levels

You will be looking at around 270 rwhp on any given day.

The stock camshaft should have no problem clearing. If you can get the Edelbrocks for a good deal, go for it.

I prefer another cylinder head...

The intake will be fine as well for a good budget build.

It will be fun for you, good luck.

Be careful of the 388 HP claim. That is likely just on an engine dyno with belt driven accessories or drivetrain loss.

Those two will kill those power numbers by the time it actually hits the rear tires.

15-18% for the drivetrain alone...

Then add on a possible 10-20% for the accessories...
