ok onyx u bring a question to me now...say my car is in storage (like it is) for about 5months ...never being started....would it need to have the system primed? or no....i never did last winter..altho it was started more often than it has been this year..this year last time it was started i think was like beginning of december...so i was just wondering..its not really gonna change my mind cuz its stock heads n i am not to worried cuz ill be gettin new ones at some point..hopefully soon..who knows....but when ever i get something nice id like to know...

dispose of those heads and get some worked over gt40s, jk but befor you put them on i would drop them of at your local machine shop and have them looked at, i have heard very very bad things, but thats just me

You're right, come to think of it. It's been a while.

Speaking of which... put thread sealer on the ones that go through the water jacket, assembly lube on the ones that don't. You 'can' use oil for the non-water jacket bolts, but a good sealer will give you more accurate torque specs. ARP makes good stuff

Take your time and double check your torque specs and sequences. Keep all your bolts in labeled bags or something to keep them organized. Here's a step by step that I found to be about 98% if you'd like to take a look at it, it's very helpful.
