BUILDING AOD!

RE: BUILDING AOD!
aftermarket manual valvebodies allow manual shifting of the tranny. i think lentech has one where you can manually shift all the gears, and then push a button and go back to running the aod in normal automatic mode.

RE: BUILDING AOD!
i got a lentech vb in my new tranny. havent tried it out yet. but they say its does a normal pattern 1,2,3 not 1,D,OD. and has a OD lock out. valve body i htink was close to 400 alone.
you can buy a transgo shift kit and do almost the same thing. I can sell you my old set up if youre interested. aB&M 3k holeshot converter, Transgo installed Valve body, Pro billet servo.
now if you are building it, get a 1piece input, stronger OD bands, get a deep pan[im keeping mine] also a good cooler is needed. the bigger the better
