on a stock motor u wouldnt be able to puit a whole lot of nitrous on it to get that h.p and then u also have to put in consideration of mileage on the motor and how much wear ull be putting on the motor with just a 100 shot.. if the rode hold

yeah you say that until you throw a simple 100 shot on... it'll kick you in the ace more than anything you've ever felt!!! NOS FTW!!.....CAM SWAP = VALVETRAIN SWAP TO MATCH

My first round of motor building isn't much different than what you are thinking:
'95 Cobra GT-40 Heads (Ported and Polished) - $200 for heads, $500 for rebuild and machine work (yes I know I could have aluminum heads... I don't want them at this time)
Cobra Intake (Upper extrude honed [bought it that way], lower ported and matched to heads) - $300, machining bundled with heads
F cam or similiar (waiting on flow numbers from heads) ~$200
Valvetrain - $500 (springs, locks, retainers, push rods, roller rockers, etc, etc... estimated budget)
I will be THRILLED if that combo puts 300 down to the wheels (and I'm betting it does).
Subtract the machine work and all injection parts, and I'm at $1200... I paid high on the intake (extrude hone) and low on the heads, so I call the two an average.
But, with my budget in mind and quality parts, I'm hopefully for a VERY reliable build. If I add N20 or a blower to the mix, I should easily be able to exceed the horsepower capacity of the stock block.
Anyhow... Good luck.

Gt40 heads/cam/intake along with all the supporting hardware is going to perform right around where the 93 cobra's did....240-260 to the wheels and a nice powercurve on the street. Nitrous is great but upgrading before using it makes it all the better. Go for the parts you've listed and enjoy.
