hey guys i got a 1991 5.0l all stock except bbk equal headers, h pipe, and flowmaster 40 series exhaust, also i ahve a B&M shift kit to put in! so iw as tihnking about buying either! i only ahve a 1000 to spend and i only want like a streetable car around 300-350 horse! so i know the GT40 heads and intake arent the best but im ona budget!

i plan on doing intake and MAF and that to

H/C/I
-GT40 heads
-GT40 intake
-E303 cam

or a s306 or 347 stroker kit?

gt40 heads and intake are a great way to start out and a nice cam set up and you will be doing great thats what i would do

you should be able to do the gt-40 h/c/i for under 1000

ya imn honestly not a big fan of nitrous! o and some guy is gonna sell me 4 17 inch cobra r replicas for 250! but one of the lips is broken about a 4 inch gap in the lip so it would ahve to be replaced but thats stilla good price eh

you shouldnt be afraid of nitrous at all. you just need to understand how to use it. when i get my explorer motor in ill have ported and polished heads and intake and probably a 150 shot on it too.

no i understand i just prefer all motor! what cam would be best for the gt40 heads and intake? also if i buy used heads will i need new lifters springs and everything? also what else should ia hev done to the head s by a machine shop??

yeah you say that until you throw a simple 100 shot on... it'll kick you in the ace more than anything you've ever felt!!! NOS FTW!!.....CAM SWAP = VALVETRAIN SWAP TO MATCH

ya probaly lol ive never been in a car with nos! so what all would i need for valve trains swap?
