I am wanting to purchase a short throw shifter. My car had a four cylinder tranny when I purchased it. I learned this when I changed my clutch and I had to purchase a different bearing. Will the shifter for the t-5 work with the four cylinder t-5? I know the input shaft is smaller but what about anything else?

Also what brand of shifter do you guys recomend?

a 5.0 short throw shifter will work on the 4 cyl t-5..= no difference in this area

I don't know where my post went, but basically what it said was that yes it'll fit. For the which shifter question, there's still a big thread on that already, I think it's on the second page.
