clutch adjustments
I have a 1990 Mustang GT 5 speed i though my trans was goin but its my clutch not disengaging i put a new clutch cable on and it was a little better but my throw out bearing is good but not realeasing all the way the clutch itself is good too. this started happening about a mounth ago i barly drive it now cause its annoying from not going into gear can someone tell me if theres an adjustment or some way to fix this...by the way i bought a stock cable its not an adjustable

the clutch quadrant on any 5.0 mustang is a self adjusting set up and the self adjustment is accessed by pulling all the way up on the pedal then push back down...if it still gives you problems..invest in a adjustable set up with a firewall adjuster too

I've heard of that method too.... I wonder if I need to do that, bc my 90 likes to go forward on its own practically.... then again I might need to adjust the nuts on the cable on the side of the tranny

the self adjusters like not to work...
i noticed the other day that my self adjuster is maxed out... i was afraid of that. looks like i need a new clutch soon
i would get a firewall adjuster though.
