Nitrous likes high compression actually. You can run it, but you need to have the right nitrous tune and the right fuel octane. The right tune/octane is true and critical of any setup though. 11.3:1 + nitrous would make excellent power, but if it's tuned wrong or the fuel is too low of an octane, you'll prolly break a lot of stuff in the engine.

+1 you wont have to use as much to get power. i think right around 10.5 or so 100 shot is a 100hp at the wheels and as the more compression the more power you would get from that 100 shot. like a 9.1 1 motor with a 100 shot would show about a 75ish hp gain depending on tune. so it is smarter to run the shot and u can pill it lower and get the same amount of power. aka saves money on the laughing gas.
