how do i change out the P.I.P.????
i ran the codes on my car and i got 14. basiclly bad P.I.P.
i was wondering how exactly to change it i have never even seen somone do this before???
so if you know anything about how to change it out i would greatly appreciate it.

Check this procedure even though its for a T-Bird, it also applies to Mustangs.

i broke the top little stopper thing that you have to take the pin out of above the gear. and the gear wont come off.
can i buy just that peice or is the whold distributor F***ed?

if you need a PIP, its best to replace the whole distributor, bu this time, its mechanically worn.
They are $60 autozone new without the module on the face of the dizzy and your old core.
You need to know if you have a steel gear or cast iron, they are not interchangable and severe damage will result.

installed yet?
Did you get the one with a new ignition module? or if you reused your old one, put plenty of the high temp with grease on the dizzy where the module sits?
