Hey Dime, I'm in the same boat as you.....similar set up GT 40 crate motor 100 shot dry...and Im bored of it.....I'm going to boost as well....I want to roll on the throttle and break loose on the freeway...thats man stuff....LOL....I'm going with a Vortech T-trim....we have to watch out for our Hyper pistons.....

You may want to goMass Air to tune....IMO

Or if your going to stay SD they spray more....???

We can get big power out of our current setups with boost but for how long??? I seen some crazy things with stock blocks boosting 12-14#'s for years and years....other let loose in months.....same set up....its a crap shoot.....

I would just save up and build a 408w then add boost later

If you have 4 k, the answer is simple, get a dart or man o war block, forged inners, tri plated bearings and crank the boost up high[8D], withouth the fear of splitting your block in half.

The great thing of boost, is that your power starts sooner than N/A, depending on your setup.

Hey man,
Where in Memphis are you located?
There was a stang meet on Saturday nite that included 30 or more stangs.
PM me for details on the next meet.

Missed that.

To correct that, you can get power easier and sooner, than a n/a where you have to build some serious rpms to reach a smiliar hp/trq figure.

Yeah thats cool....dont know about a S/C with SD and how its going to be to tune....Ihate duplicating the work that was just donebut maybe you could pull heads port them...and go with a custom cam (**** the idle)....if you dont have to pass emissions like stupid CA.....then maybe bump to 125-150 dry shot....thenthat'd be a fun combo I would think.....I just think your "next" step is going to cost bucks.....and if you dont want to break the bank building it...above sounds like best option????

my similar setupdid 270hp NA...and 360hp 100 shot.....its gay...
