What up Dime? Hey I only have one thing to say about holley heads....stay away...I have a set ona 306 I built a while back....if the heads are the older holley's like 5+ years old....they suck ***....they use a specific guide plate thats wider than the norm....I called holley and talked all this crap and they are like we fixed them....geometry is correct now....you have do stupid things like lengthen your EGR cross over if you still have it? Its just a multitude of little things that suck ***.....your like WTF?

well, this has guideplates already, yes they are a little wierd, they have nylon inserts... i dont have a crossover tube anymore

im mostly concerned with the differant valve angle(18* instead of 20* i believe) and the higher exh ports

There should be a stamped # on the heads call Holly and get the specifics.....what nylon pieces areyou talkin about? Dude I'm trippin right now...that could be my issue with sloppy rockers.....they dont just run a guide plate alone like edy's and afr's? I know you have to lengthen pushrods for sure with them....stock wont work they pull and push stock ones all over the place and f em all up...mine ended up being 6.400....

about the higher exh. port? I wouldnt worry about that....just angels like the TFS has weird ones too right?

See this is the crap I'm talkin about.....its like dude...I'm just bitter when it comes to Holley heads....LOL
