rear main seal

any info on replacing,does a stock 302 seal fit in a 331 conversion? THANKS

do you have a one piece? or a two piece? a 331 is a 302 block do diffrence in the seals...

you gotta pull the tranny. one piece just pops in and out. two piece is a lil more aggravating.

for a one peice, stick a screw into the seal, grab it with some vice grips, and pull the seal out.

I just did my rear main seal over the winter it was fairly easy the only problem I had was the trans fought me tooth and nail going back in.

Same here man, I was gettin pissed, not to mention I kept nailin my head on everything every 5 seconds.
