You would need to get larger pistons. A 306 is only a bore of this cylinders.

Yes it looks like it is oversized for .030 and that would be fine for you.

piecing together a hci as we speak.Dont have alot of money so Im buying used stuff like gt40 intake and am looking for gt40 heads right now.

OK then this kit will be fine for you. As long as you dont go FI you shouldnt have a problem. If you do though you will not be able to run too much boost because you can blow the motor. If you are working on a budget then I suggest you go to the junk yard and look for the explorer 5.0 motors. I forgot exactly what years but I believe it is 96.5-98. Also buy yourself a port and polish kit and a set of junky crappy heads and learn to port on your own. Since your working on a budget I'm guessing you are going to be doing your own work and if you port your own heads and intake mani you should feel just right.

ya Already got that setup for the port and polish.Buying a 97 explorer upper and lower intake manifold tomorrow includes a 65 mm tb too thanks for the help.
