NEW MAF on the market?????
I am not trying to steal any glory nor advertise, for I am nobody. I scan several places for personal information purposes and like to help out when I can. I haven't seen anybody post on this yet, but if so please correct me. Looks like they are coming out with a new mass air flow sensor that will solve alot of problems I have seen posted throughout this fourm and then some. www.abacoperformance.com I found this info. at hardcore50. There are some big names flying around about this.
Moderators if I am wrong about posting this please let me know. Just trying to help with some good hot info. This is a great site. I hit it everyday. Keep up the great work. Thanks MAC

RE: NEW MAF on the market?????
I'm not sure how it could be 'too big'
But I will agree that it is WAY overkill for about 90% of the Mustangs floating around here.
All the inconsistencies due to MAF location would be minimized by the multiple sampling locations.
The meter could be recalibrated (by the end user/customer)for use with any injectors/ecu combo. OR, scaled for use with boost...
Purchasing this one meter would eliminate the need for any meter purchase in the future...
Regardless of what upgrades are made to the vehicle.
A tuning device would still have major advantages.
If I had to chose between a tweecer and this meter...
I would run a C&L and the tweecer... still not ideal, but that is the option I would select.
Curious what others here think about it

RE: NEW MAF on the market?????
They will have an 85mm available. That should work with no problem. I am looking at finishing up 418 project by mid summer or sooner. I am going to get one to try out and pair up with PMS.

Jason,
I saw some of your input out there too on the Abaco. Is it you and Adder that are the Tweecer techs here?
I have seen a lot of mixed information and problems with electronics, sample tubes and whatnot's on alot of MAFs on the market. Run with different filters, no filter, have to set up for cold air intake and forced induction!!!! This looks to me that it would possibly solve all of those problems and would even be a big benefit to the dyno tuners out there with ability download the option changes from the internet.
Sorry if I don't post fast replys, only get on net in early morning and work 12 to 16 hour days.

RE: NEW MAF on the market?????
I was looking hard into the tweecer, the only problem I am running into is time management to get it set up right. It would be nice if I had someone local that has one and is experienced that I could work with. When I hit the track this year I will do some serious research.
I think I understand where you are coming from with the C&L and tweecer with what they were posting at hardcore. It looks like ABACO and PMS are more of a matching pair. But the tweecer will work.
