Line lock/Roll Control

RE: Line lock/Roll Control
Every track I have been to so far is level at the line and the car doesn't roll. I'm not saying you can't use, I just don't. There's ne need for me to.
You can get a trans brake for a better affect at the line. W/ line lock, only the front wheels are locked and if you have enough power and a sticky tire, you could push past the staging light and red light at the line
In drag racing, a transbrake is a setup installed in automatic transmissions which places the transmission in first and reverse gears at the same time, effectively "braking" the transmission. With the transmission locked in this manner, the engine can be accelerated to a certain RPM in preparation for launch and the racer doesn't need to worry about the car creeping forward. A split second before the green light illuminates on the Tree the transbrake is released (either automatically by a delay box or manually by the driver) and the car launches forward, its engine already at the beginning of its powerband and the transmission is already in gear.

RE: Line lock/Roll Control
my 89 5.0 has 2 front lines and 1 rear line coming out of the master cylinder. 1 front goes to the prop valve and 1 doesn't. it goes straight to the driver side caliper. how should i connect a line lock?

RE: Line lock/Roll Control
the way hurst shows to hook up line locks is to plug off bottom port on master cylinder and thats how I did it and I have bled the brakes 4 time so far. could it be because I converted to rear disc and sn95 front disc brakes.
do I need a bigger master cylinder

RE: Line lock/Roll Control
i put a hurst kit on a friends car, he got it off of ebay and the install kits was just a few lines and fittings in a bag, im not sure if it was a hurst install kit or just some junk thrown together but it was usles, i just made the lines and all to do it, the fittings that came with it kept leaking so i tore it all out and redid it.

hmm, maybe try bleeding brakes again? Start from furthest away from Master Cylinder
