Is it preety easy to install a short throw shifter. I'm looking at the Pro 5.0

Yup real easy. Just pull off cover from interior panel that your shift boot is on. And there is 4 bolts that hold the shifter down. Prolly take 15 min to do it.

Pro 5.0 is definately the best as well, dont go with the B&amp;M Ripper</P>

Do not go with a kirban kwik shift, It took out my t-5!!! one of the bolts backed out and it was overthrowing 2nd. went with pro 5.0 after that, no problems. Spend the money and go with reputation and quality.

What is the opinion on the Steeda Triax? I've been looking at that as an option thinking Steeda has a good rep.
