When you stop, if you keep your foot on the accelerator and keep the RPM's up to 800-1000 does it keep running? If it does, that sounds more like a vacuum leak or an IAC valvle problem. Or......... Now that I think about it, if your TPS is getting weird, that could do all of these things. I haven't known of one that would get better, but I guess it could happen. If you have an analog voltage meter, you could check the TPS voltage throughout the stroke and look for any spots where it jumps or drops.

when it stalls i fire it back up and it idles good until i drive to the next stop it does it again i never hooked up the vss on the mass air conversion could that be it i do have a whole parts engine that ran good maybe all swap the iac and the idle position sensor see if it helps
