Default Fog Light Fix - Easy As Pie

Hey guys, just did this fog light fix thought I'd post my feedback and results for you all. This was a really simple wireing job. Just letting you all know you can find everything for this except the relay at your parts store and be rockin those fog lights how they were ment to in no time. I also chose a different power source instead of running a power wire throught the firewall and to the battery. I installed an in-line fuse under the dash, and power right into my fuse block. Anyone have any questions fire away, here are some pics of the final results. I don't have the lights mounted yet, but you get the idea.

I guess the stock setup for fog lights is only to be used when the headlights are on. Its a wireing bypass to turn them on whenever. Read the link[:@]

Also helps with the overheating/flickering problem a lot of Foxes have.

Was there a guide that you followed to do this? I was surprised to see that the fog lights don't come on unless the headlights are on. I would like to do the same to mine ... I was going to run a separate switch directly to them ...

This is true and probably why some of you guys lights don't work now. I'm telling you take 2 -2.5hours a the most and fix your problem. Thislil mod is SO easy and you stillkeep the factory FL switch. Now I can use them whenever I want not whenever ford want me to. This is a must for all 5.0's around my parts. Good luck I have faithin ya.

Ive heard of quite a few fires from the Fog Lights on the stock switch.

I suggest run them on its own stand alone fuse circuit and switch.

Dont go above stock wattage either on the bulbs
