Default engine rebuild opinions request

ok im looking for some opinions on rebuilding my engine. im budgeting around $2500 for the engine. im sure that someone will make a reply saying i should use some of it on suspension or fuel pump or tires or whatever, but i allready have an amount bugeted for each of these, the 2500 is for engine alone. im building my car up in stages. right now ive got the suspension parts either allready here or on the way. once i have them installed ill work on getting what i need for my engine. im still debating on a tranny and which gears but will be doing that at the same time of engine rebuild.

anyway my question is what would be the best bet to get the most performance and power

get a kit like the trickflow kit that has cam, heads, rockers, everything i need -or- get everything separate like a e303 cam, afr heads, then intake, ect.. either way any suggestions on what brand or what parts?

my plans are to rebuild the block using a summit rebuild kit with flat top pistons. it will be stock bore and everything. as much as i would like to have it bored over i cannot have that done here. well there isnt a shop i trust enough to do it.

im not planning on using my car as a race car. im sure ill make an occasional trip down a strip or two, but it will mostly be my daily driver. i do want to be able to hang with the big boys around here instead of seeing tailights.

anyway, thanks for any input

I can tell you right now, the rebuild kit and bottle brush hone rebuilds don't last . If thats your plans dont do it . you nead a trip to a mechean shop to rebuild the engin . for the amount you have it is very possable to get a crate engin and bolt on as you get the money
