Default quick question regarding fuel pump...

Ok I just installed a new tank, a new fuel pump, new straps, new lines, etc. after my old fuel pump stopped turning on. Tank has no gas in it and I went to turn the key just once and didn't hear anything...thats normal since theres no gas right?

^^^^if you have voltage at the connector your inertia switch is fine and has not been tripped
