95GT CCRM / Fuel Pump Problem
I was wondering if anyone has ever had issues with the fuel pump relay? My 95 5.0 has always been hard to get to start, and in the past it has thrown codes for a bad fuel pump relay. But recently, it has refused to start at all - the engine turns over just fine, but there's no fuel getting to the engine. I checked the fuel pressure - there's absolutely no fuel pressure up top. And when I turn the key on I can hear the fuel pump relay under the hood activating. However, I can't hear the fuel pump in back come on at all anymore. I was wondering if, even though the relay/CCRM has been suspect in the past, can I assume that it still works fine since I can hear it contacting? Or can it be not sending voltage to the fuel pump? Do I need to replace the CCRM, or does it sound like it's the fuel pump that needs replacing? If anyone has any experience, advice, etc., I would be greatly appreciative.

RE: 95GT CCRM / Fuel Pump Problem
you need to take it one step at a time and begin testing components.
go to the back of the car, unplug the inertia switch, and test the connector for 12v+ when turning the key on, or cranking.
If you are getting power to the inertia switch, place a jumper across the connector. If your pump does not turn on... its no good.
Good luck finding a CCRM btw... unless you have a couple hundred bucks to drop, you might want to consider making a new fuel pump circuit!

I was having this problem and it ended up being some bad grounds or corroded connections....dont know where just went through and cleaned all of them...they were making the i/p fuse blow
