RE: help me i dont know!!!!
75 302 = flat tappet and if you wanted to convert it to a roller set up you'll need the expensive 400 dollar retro fit lifters= not worth it..you could buy a seasoned 302 roller block cheaper than that...not worth converting a flat tappet to roller

RE: help me i dont know!!!!
500 for a roller block that is insane, i have a roller block machined 30 over, drilled and tappedfor 1/2" head studs and alighn honed for $350. you must not no the right people, all i can say is people are ripping you off. i mean hell i pulled a complete engine out of a lincon from pull apart for 169 or somewhere around therre. do your research, go to a machine shop. and you can tell if it is a rolller if it has a spider in the valley

Around here has a drag stang so i cant get a 302 motor that has been ran to **** for 200 then the work it would take to bring it back to runnign order would be around 700 plus..There are no junk cars with 302s in them here because ppl got to them before they were junk.Even the junk chagers 300 for a core 302 motor.adn even more if it runs.

I paid $500 for my whole car!. 89 LX hatch with a little rust on the passenger door and around the hatchback, perfect interior, 160K miles, good compression, no smoke, and I wouldn't hesitate to drive it any distance. That's too much for a used block?
