Default RE: Gutting the cats on my gt

last night i found a guy on craigslist selling a bbk offroad H pipe for $75

turns out the guy owns his own performance shop, and even put the car up on his lift and put it on for me!

hes also going to hook me up with gears, the clutchs and such for the limited slip, and a hole bunch of other parts.

the only bad thing about the offroad h pipe is that becase my stock headers, and cat back are all old and ****ty, that theres a couple pretty bad exhaust leaks, so ill have to fix that.

but it was a pretty simple job (would have only took 30min, if it wernt for trying to fix the leaks) and i got soem real honest gains!

the car seems to rev faster, and also has a LITTLE more juice, could be in my head, but just it reving a little faster is worth it to me.

i cant really comment on the sound.......i have 2-3 big exhaust leaks, and im sure this changed the sound.

but MAN OH MAN does it sound amazing!

crazy thing is.........NO DRONE AT ALL!

idk how, but when im just crusing theres no drone, im sure my 2.73 gears help that, but i was really surprized about how loud it is, but it doesent drone, and has a mild idle.
